Koi Carp

The brocaded carp (Nishikigoi Japanese), or short Koi, come from Asia. Already about 2,500 years ago, carp were bred in many different colors. They are said to bring power, strength and good luck. These properties result from the fact that, in their Chinese habitat, the Yellow River, they can swim upstream to survive.

Here at the Millennium pond there are no rapids to overcome, but a visit to the Koi fish is worthwhile in any case. If you look quietly, you can watch the beautiful fish for hours. So good luck to our good luck charms!
